Im pretty sure it was on Ao3 but it was so long ago I cant remember hardly anything about it except that a female OC (who was a soldier/police maybe?) from our world ended up transported to middle earth and went on the quest with everyone.

I read this ages ago and cannot find it now.
I think it was female Bilbo and she adopts the trolls who then follow her to Rivendale. Also she realise Gollum was a hobbit and helps him go into the sun.

That's all I can remember.

Any help would be appreciated!
